The role sits within our Client Services Team which is the face of Barr Ellison, centered on providing the highest level of service to our clients, prospective clients and business referrers, providing support work that advances business’ goals.
You will engage in particular with new business enquiries from clients and potential clients, by phone and email. This includes keeping accurate records, compiling reports, updating databases, assisting in ongoing marketing efforts, and maintaining the office facility. Your dedication to the needs of our clients will encourage client loyalty and support our firm’s growth through positive engagement. Your attentiveness to the details and procedures will ensure smooth operations so that our legal teams can focus on performance and their goals.
Our ideal candidate demonstrates excellent people skills. You are a rule-follower, able to set up systems and procedures within a growing firm, and you are also a team player with a growth mindset. You take pride in everything you do. You work independently and have a personality that needs to complete tasks and check off all the boxes. These qualities will enable you to connect with prospective clients, build relationships with existing clients, thus actively supporting the firm’s goals. You can demonstrate active listening and communication skills, good personal presentation, politeness and tact.
You will ideally be comfortable using IT systems, including databases, Microsoft applications, and website and graphic design tools. However, training will be given to the right candidate.
This is a full-time position, located at our Parkside offices at the heart of Cambridge.
