
Rebecca deals with a wide range of Court of Protection matters, and has expertise in the Mental Capacity Act and its implications for Deputyship matters. Rebecca is experienced in dealing with children and young people as well as adults without capacity, their families and the various stakeholders involved in their affairs.
Prior to joining Barr Ellison Law in 2022, Rebecca worked for a decade in a large Cambridge biotechnology company as a biologist. To satisfy a long-held passion for the law, Rebecca undertook a career change, completing her Graduate Law Diploma in 2018 for which she was awarded a Distinction. Rebecca went on to complete the Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Law in 2019, again achieving a Distinction. Rebecca qualified as a solictor in 2022.
