Mark has over 40 years of experience as a property lawyer. During this time he has dealt with a wide range of both residential and commercial property work. Mark enjoys working with clients and understands the importance of being approachable and accessible and of providing clear practical advice in a prompt and efficient manner.

Mark qualified in 1978 passing the law exams with honours and distinctions in various papers, being awarded the Clabon Moxon prize for best equity and succession paper in England.

Prior to joining Barr Ellison in 2022, Mark was an executive partner with a regional law firm and retired in 2021. However he found that he missed his work and involvement with clients and was therefore pleased to join Barr Ellison on a part time basis providing support to the residential team.

Mark is a governor of a local primary school, runs a business breakfast club, is the Race Director of the annual Abington 10K and supports Ipswich Town FC!
