Qualifications

  • Solicitor with a minimum of 6 years’ post-qualification experience (PQE), within Court of Protection or Private Client Law.
  • In-depth knowledge of deputyship applications and related Court of Protection proceedings.
  • Proven experience managing a caseload involving complex and sensitive matters, including clients who may lack capacity to make decisions regarding their health, welfare or finances.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities, with the confidence to liaise effectively with clients, families & medical professionals.
  • Demonstrated organisational and time management skills, including the ability to prioritise tasks under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
  • Experience in supervising or mentoring junior team members is highly desirable, as is a proactive and collaborative leadership style.

We are currently seeking a Private Client Solicitor to join our Personal Wealth team at our high-profile Parkside office. This is an excellent opportunity for a driven individual to deliver outstanding legal advice and client service to our high-net worth clients.

The ideal candidate will also bring a natural passion for networking and developing new business.

Full Time | Parkside Offices | 1-4 years PQE

Our Court of Protection team benefits from being closely connected to two highly successful teams within Barr Ellison Law – our Personal Injury and our Personal Wealth teams – both of which regularly appoint deputyships to take care of the needs of our clients. Our Personal Injury and Personal Wealth teams are recognised as high quality providers in their fields by the Legal 500.

You must have drive and passion and be able to demonstrate a flair for delivering exceptional client service from within a team setting.

Full Time | Parkside Offices | 3 years+ PQE

Barr Ellison Law has been operating since 1874 and we have built up an excellent base of high wealth clients. If you wish to work in a buoyant market with significant prospects for your career, we have an opening for a conveyancer within our growing, vibrant residential property team.

Ideally you will have some post-qualification experience, dealing with a range of property transactions. However, it is more important that you will be committed to building up a full and varied caseload. You need to be highly organised with excellent IT, case management and communication skills.
