George, Solicitor
"When I joined Barr Ellison Law, I was immediately given widespread exposure to various aspects of Commercial Property, and was provided with the support and encouragement from my colleagues needed to build my confidence and skills.
As a result, I have been able to confidently build my client base and case load, and lead transactions from start to finish - an opportunity I might not have been given this early in my career at a larger firm."

Riya, Paralegal
"Joining Barr Ellison has allowed me to gain hands on experience which has been invaluable in understanding the Personal Wealth practice.
I am grateful for the support of my colleagues and feel that there is an uplifting ethos at the firm, where I have always been encouraged to ask questions and work on a range of matters. As a result, I continue to learn a great deal in a very interesting area of law."

April, Solicitor
"Support is a real keyword here. Not just professionally, but also on a personal level, where you are very much seen as in individual. Colleagues care about each other. Lots of little thing add up to make your days brighter and as a result I feel valued and confident in my both work and professional relationships.
We all look out for each other, trying to keep balance in our lives and there is a real appreciation that your home life is as important as your work life."

Jamie, Marketing Assistant
"As a recent graduate, I couldn't have asked for a more supportive and rewarding work environment. From day one, I was given full creative freedom to develop my projects, allowing me to freely express my ideas and grow professionally.
The guidance and encouragment I've recieved has been amazing, and I feel like my contributions are both recognised and appreciated. Additionally, everyone has been so welcoming, making it easy to feel part of the wider team from the start."

Victoria, Solicitor
"‘During my training contract with Barr Ellison, I was exposed to both a mix of contentious and non-contentious areas of the law. During every seat, I was heavily involved with client matters to assist me in building my skillset as a young lawyer.
At the end of my training contract, I was in a position to begin building my own caseload and handling this with confidence. The support I received during my training and since becoming a newly-qualified solicitor has never wavered and has allowed to me to continue to progress in my career with confidence."

Oliver, Paralegal
"My first four months at Barr Ellison law has been extremely rewarding. I have enjoyed the constant variation of tasks and challenges while working as part of the Court of Protection Team. No day has ever been the same.
The role has provided me such a glaring insight into the Court of Protection. I perhaps wouldn’t have got this experience within a larger firm – especially so early in my legal career."

Felicity, Paralegal
"Ever since joining Barr Ellison I have felt entirely supported by the firm as a whole, and especially by my team in Catastrophic Personal Injury. Despite having not been here long, I have already had so many opportunities to develop my legal skills, many of which will count towards my Qualifying Work Experience for the SQE.
For anyone considering a career with Barr Ellison Law, I could not recommend the firm more."

Cailan, Solicitor
"What are the key things to look for when considering a prospective employer?
There are of course the standard measures; strong leadership, positivity, work-life balance, the opportunity for professional development and so on. I’ve found all of those here, along with a team which shares my humour.
The most important measure for me over my early months here has been how matters are handled when challenges outside of work arise. The compassion and support I have received here has been beyond compare, both from my immediate team and from the partners of the firm."
